2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you create an account, purchase a deal, or contact us, we collect:

  • Billing information: Billing name and address. Credit card and payment details are processed directly by Stripe, Inc. — we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Purchase information: Deals purchased, order amounts, and transaction history.
  • Communications: Messages you send to our support team.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you browse or use the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

• • Device and browser information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers.
  • Usage data: Pages viewed, links clicked, time spent on the Site, referring URL, and search terms used.
  • Transaction data: Voucher issuance, redemption events (date, time, partial amounts applied), and voucher status.
  • Geolocation data: If you use the Nearby Deals feature, we request access to your device location to display deals near you. This data is used in real time and is not stored on our servers beyond the current session unless you explicitly save a location in your Account Settings. You may revoke this access at any time through your device settings or by deleting saved locations in your profile. Stored locations are retained until you delete them or close your account.

We use cookies (small text files stored on your device) and similar technologies for the following purposes:

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

1. 1. Process your purchases — Create and fulfill voucher orders through WooCommerce and process payments through Stripe.
   2. Issue and manage vouchers — Generate your unique QR-code voucher, track your cash and promo balances, and record redemptions.
   3. Communicate with you — Send order confirmations, voucher delivery emails, redemption receipts, promo-expiry reminders (for the promotional portion of your voucher), and customer-support responses.
   4. Operate the Site — Monitor performance, detect and prevent fraud and abuse, and maintain security.
   5. Improve the Site — Analyze usage patterns to improve features, deals, and user experience.
   6. Comply with legal obligations — Respond to lawful requests from courts, regulators, or law enforcement.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Information We Share

4.1 Service Providers

We share your information with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf and are contractually required to protect it:

When you redeem a voucher at a participating business, the merchant's staff member scanning the code can see:

    • The amount applied during that redemption
    • Remaining voucher balances after redemption

Merchants do not receive your full name, email address, payment details, or purchase history unless you voluntarily provide it to them directly.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; to enforce our Terms of Service; to protect the rights, property, or safety of Naples.Deals, our users, or the public; or to detect, prevent, or address fraud or security issues.

4.4 Business Transfers

If Naples.Deals is acquired, merges with another company, or transfers substantially all of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Site before your information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.

5. Voucher Data and Retention

Your voucher records — including cash value, promo value, redemption history, and QR token — are stored in our secure database for as long as the voucher has a remaining balance or for a minimum of seven (7) years to comply with financial recordkeeping requirements.

Fully-exhausted vouchers (zero remaining balance) and expired promotional vouchers with zero cash balance are retained for three (3) years for audit and dispute-resolution purposes, then deleted or anonymized.

Your account information is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion (see Section 8), we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, subject to the retention obligations above.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• • TLS/HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers.
  • Payment card data processed exclusively by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant. We never store full card numbers.
  • Unique, cryptographically-random QR tokens for each voucher to prevent forgery.
  • Access controls limiting employee access to personal data to those with a business need.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@naples.deals.

7. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at support@naples.deals.

8. Your Rights and Choices

8.1 All Users

Regardless of where you live, you may:

• • Access your data: Log in to your account to view your order history, voucher balances, and profile information.
  • Correct your data: Update your name, email, and billing address in your account settings.
  • Opt out of marketing emails: Click "Unsubscribe" in any marketing email, or contact us. Transactional emails (order confirmations, voucher delivery, redemption receipts, and promo-expiry reminders) are required communications and cannot be opted out of while your voucher has an active balance.
  • Delete your account: Contact us at support@naples.deals with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." Note that account deletion does not result in the forfeiture of your voucher cash balance. However, Cuccaro Media, LLC will retain personal data associated with that balance as a transaction record to comply with Florida financial recordkeeping and unclaimed property laws. Your balance will remain available for redemption in accordance with Section 5 above or, if left inactive for the statutory period, will be reported and remitted as unclaimed property pursuant to Florida Statutes Chapter 717.

8.2 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

• • Right to Know: Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
  • Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information and that we direct our service providers and contractors to do the same, subject to legal retention exceptions.
  • Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to Opt Out of Sale/Sharing: We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes beyond what is necessary to provide the services.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.

To submit a CCPA request, contact us at support@naples.deals or 908-265-7886. We will respond within 45 days. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.

Shine the Light (California Civil Code §1798.83): California residents may also request information about personal information disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

9. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., participating business websites). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and notify you by email or via a notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date of the revised policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
